The River Engineering Laboratory undertakes studies related to Flood Control, Hydraulic Analysis and Prototype Testing of Structures, Sediment Transport, Flushing of Sediments through Reservoirs, Sediment Control and Exclusion Devices, Design of Canals and Canal Structures, Bridges, River Training and Diversion, Morphological Studies.
