Unique Features of the Meteorological Sensors Calibration Laboratory
- Auto calibration and adjustment of sensors fully through software including report generation
- Provision to calibrate multiple sensors simultaneously
- Calibration methods follow WMO No. 8 – Guide to Instruments and Methods of Observation (Vol-I)
- Measurements are traceable to NIST / NPL
Apart from this, the laboratory is equipped with high precision portable field calibrator for on field performance testing of AWS at different sites across India. The testing facility for oversized air temperature sensor and relative humidity sensor is also available in this laboratory.
