Health unit stands as a cornerstone of healthcare within CWPRS, bolstered by a dedicated team of Lady Medical Officer, Nurse, Pharmacist, Multi Tasking Staff and a broad spectrum of services it renders daily.
Daily Activities at Health Unit includes:- Various activities conducted for medical care/awareness include:
- Attending about 25 to 30 patients, a testament to the trust and reliance placed in our services by the employee.
- Primary care management forms the backbone of daily operations. Providing first aid and managing primary care for various injuries and wound.
- Monitoring of vitals and routine health parameters for employees suffering from Diabetes and Hypertension, which helps in timely management and adjustment of treatment protocols.
- Treatment of acute emergencies like insect or snake bites, which are occupational hazards for many of our employees, especially those working in field or outdoor settings, health unit is equipped to provide immediate care, thereby preventing complications and ensuring employee safety during office hours.
- During critical period of 2021-2022, health unit successfully conducted a COVID-19 vaccination drive, ensuring the safety and health of our employees during the global pandemic. This initiative was pivotal in maintaining the well-being and operational continuity of our workforce. In addition to acute care and vaccination drives, our unit is committed to the overall well-being of our staff.
- Annual health camp and ophthalmological camps to screen and address the broader health needs of the CWPRS staff, thus promoting a culture of health awareness and preventive care.
- Frequently conducting lectures on various health topics including personal hygiene, menstrual hygiene, and women's health. These sessions are aimed at empowering our employees with knowledge to manage their health better and fostering an environment of wellness.
